How to Become a Donor

There are many options for giving through the Community Foundation. Whether you wish to create a charitable endowment fund or make a gift to an existing fund, you may be assured that your gift will be used permanently to make a lasting contribution to the community.

Create a New Endowment Fund

The procedure for creating an endowment fund with the NC Community Foundation is simple and straightforward. But first you should ask yourself the following questions:

What assets should you use to establish the fund?
What type of endowment will best suit you needs/interests?
Are you ready to establish the endowment now, or will your gift be made through a Will or Trust?
Do you wish to have income from your gift while you are living?
