Robert E. and Dorothy Z. Barnhill Family Fund
This fund supports general charitable causes throughout North Carolina as recommended by the Barnhill family.
Robert E. Barnhill, Sr. Scholarship Fund
The Robert E. Barnhill, Sr. Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to academically deserving students residing in North Carolina and attending a college or university.
Marion Covington Lecture Endowment
This endowment provides funding for a guest speaker at Preservation NC's annual meeting.
Eastern North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund
The Eastern North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund awards grants to cover the costs incurred by natural disasters such as hurricanes, flooding, and winter storms.
First Citizens Bank Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to support the Council of Friends, Inc. for Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens and the NC History Education Center.
Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for the Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina (Preservation NC).
Lewis R. Holding Philanthropic Leadership Fund
The purpose of this fund is to honor and perpetuate the philanthropic example and stewardship exhibited by Lewis R. Holding, Founder and President of the
North Carolina Community Foundation.
I. Beverly Lake Scholarship Endowment
This scholarship fund is open to applicants who are lineal descendants of a North Carolinian who honorably served the Confederate States of America.
Mental Health Association of North Carolina Thompson Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of the Mental Health Association of North Carolina.
NC Alpha Delta Kappa Student Achievement Scholarship
The purpose of this fund is to award scholarships to NC high school seniors who are pursuing a degree at a school of higher learning.
NC Breast Cancer Fund
The North Carolina Breast Cancer Fund supports charitable programs in the field of breast cancer including education, detection, and prevention for women in North Carolina.
NC Caring Dental Professionals Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of the NC Caring Dental Professionals.
NC Dental Health Endowment
The NC Dental Health Endowment is a statewide fund that provides support to programs supporting and promoting oral health care in North Carolina. The Dental Health Endowment funds only clinics that are providing dental services to the needy. The grant process takes place in the fall of each year with a October 31 deadline. The maximum grant amount is $5,000.
NC Library Association Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for the North Carolina Library Association.
NC Public Health Association Scholarship
This fund awards scholarships to current or prospective workers in public health in NC for public health training.
NCPHA Foundation for a Healthy Future
The purpose of this fund is to support the North Carolina Public Health Association.
North Carolina Aquarium Society Exhibits Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for the construction of new exhibits and/or maintenance of existing exhibits at the North Carolina Aquariums located at Roanoke Island, Pine Knoll Shores, and Fort Fisher.
North Carolina Park & Recreation Endowment
This fund was created to encourage and assist the advancement and development of recreation and parks services in the state of North Carolina.
Prevention First Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of NC Prevention Partners, Inc. in fulfilling its mission.
Project Challenge, North Carolina, Inc. Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for Project Challenge, North Carolina.
The Helen T. and William D. Rose Family Fund
This donor-advised fund benefits general charitable causes.
William B. & Katherine P. Stillerman Benevolent Fund
This fund provides ongoing support for Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina, Inc., in its work to provide care for poor older adults.
Tryon Palace Council of Friends Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to support the programs and work of the Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens.
John C. Washington Endowment for NC Citizens who are Deaf-Blind
This fund provides support for Deaf and Blind NC Citizens.
Dr. Ann F. Wolfe Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to award mini-grants to aid local health departments in the reduction of infant mortality and the enhancement of child health.
