North Carolina Community Foundation Hires Three New Regional Field Coordinators
The North Carolina Community Foundation has enjoyed steady growth in both giving capacity and territory served over the past year. In an effort to keep up with this fast rate of growth, the Foundation has created new divisions among their six regions of the state and is pleased to announce that three new Regional Field Coordinators have joined the Foundation to serve counties within the Coastal Plain region.
Theresa (Tia) V. Douglass of Williston, NC, will work with Carteret, Craven, Pamlico, and Beaufort Counties. Tia comes to the Foundation from BP Amoco Marketers Association where for 4 years she worked with over 700 members of the non-profit organization. She is also an experienced Paralegal. Tia is a member of the Beaufort Historical Association and will act as House Mother for Beaufort Historical Old Homes Tour this year.
Marilyn B. Gibson of Greenville, NC, will work with Lenoir, Greene, Pitt, and Martin Counties. Marilyn is a mother of three, and for the past three years she has taught in the Pitt County School System and at Pitt Community College.
Robin P. Hauser of Wilson, NC, will work with NCCF affiliates in Wayne, Wilson, Nash, Edgecombe, and Halifax Counties, and will work to establish an affiliate in Northampton County. Robin was the Business Development Manager for the Wilson Chamber of Commerce from 2002-2005. Robin is also an experienced Paralegal and is a licensed NC real estate agent.
