Mary Morgan Joins the North Carolina Community Foundation
RALEIGH – Mary Morgan has joined the staff of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF) as legal counsel.
Morgan received her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Duke. Prior to joining the NCCF she worked for the law firm Morgan, Reeves & Gilchrist. She also has served as a partner in Cowper Consulting as a registered lobbyist for the technology industry. Her community involvement has included serving as president of the board of Playspace Children’s Museum and on the boards of
Kids Voting and Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.
The NCCF is a statewide community development organization created to build capacity through philanthropy. The NCCF administers more than $105 million in assets that sustain nearly 1,000 endowment funds established to provide long-term support of a broad range of charitable needs, nonprofit organizations and scholarships in more than 60
counties across the state, with an emphasis on underserved areas. The NCCF operates through a unique network of six regions designed to provide local resource allocation and community assistance.
