The North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF) has been awarded four stars – the highest honor a philanthropic organization can receive – from Charity Navigator.
The four star rating, from the leading international charity evaluator, means that the NCCF exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in similar fields.
Charity Navigator provides a reliable, open, objective assessment of the financial health of more than 5,000 charities. The ranking is designed to help donors and potential givers make informed decisions before making charitable contributions.
Charity Navigator’s evaluations are based on current IRS data. They reveal the financial efficiency of each charity as well as the growth of its programs and services over time.
