President, Bill Peyton, presents the first grant award from the Pitt County Community Fund to Laura Smith, Executive Director of the Literacy Volunteers of Pitt County, in the amount of $400. The grant will be applied toward the Life Skills Academy Program, teaching adults basic financial, math and literacy skills.
