Carteret Community Foundation Golf Event Held
Morehead City - The Carteret Community Foundation 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by Handy Mart and BB&T, took place recently at the Morehead City Country Club. Fifteen teams participated in the Superball Scramble. Members of the winning team, sponsored by the Sheraton, were Rob Watson, Webb, Miller and Mike Walton.
That evening’s awards reception buffet was made possible by Hooter’s and foundation board members and staff.

All proceeds from the tournament are used to fund grants to local nonprofit organizations throughout the county. The foundation has disbursed over $300,000 back into the county through this program over the last 20 years.
