The Martin County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Martin County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

>>	Endowment funds:

	William Brian Bowen Memorial Endowment This fund supports cancer research at the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center in Greenville, North Carolina. Martin County Unrestricted Endowment The purpose of the Martin County fund is to support the philanthropic efforts of the Martin County Community Foundation. Peggy Jo Cherry Memorial Endowment The purpose of this fund is to support the library of the Memorial Baptist Church of Williamston. William L. & Mable S. Butler Scholarship The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a deserving student preparing for the ministry at Heritage Bible College in Dunn, NC.
