This fund provides support for charitable uses in the field of education.
Tar River Land Conservancy Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to support the Tar River Land Conservancy and its stewardships and
enforcement of easements.
Wheless Family Endowment
This donor-advised fund benefits general charitable purposes.
Joy C. Strickland Achievement Award
This endowment provides funding to the Franklin County Schools to award the Joy C. Strickland
Special Effort Award.
Whitesburg Electronics Computer Literacy Fund
This fund supports computer literacy training in Franklin County.
Franklin County Unrestricted Endowment Fund
The Franklin County Unrestricted Endowment Fund enables the Franklin County Community
Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life
within the county. Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Franklin
County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
