Charitable organizations are invited to apply for financial support for local projects through the Yadkin County Community Foundation. In its eighth year of grant making, the Foundation is able to award grants, totaling $1,600, from two funds: the YCCF Unrestricted Fund and the Dr. William L. Wood, Sr. & Pauline “Polly” Hudspeth Wood Endowment Fund. Proposals are being accepted for philanthropic purposes in the arts, the environment, health, human services and other fields that benefit Yadkin County. The deadline for applying is Monday, March 31, 2008.
