The Onslow Caring Communities Foundation is pleased to be able to offer grants from its community endowment fund for 2008. Proposals are sought in support of broad charitable purposes in the areas of arts and humanities, education, the environment, health, human services, public and societal benefit, and youth development. Strong consideration will be given to projects that build charitable capacity for the non-profit through such efforts as board training, staff development, strategic planning, and efforts that promote sustainable funding for the organization. Monies are available for non-profit organizations addressing these needs in Onslow County. The total amount available in 2008 is $6,700.
