The Haywood County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Haywood County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
Gifts and bequests may be made to any of the established funds at any time. In addition, other special funds may be set up within the Haywood County Community Foundation for any charitable purpose. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Hands Across Haywood Student Activities Fund Endowment
This fund was created by Haywood County Schools Foundation to assist students in attending
educational competitions.
Canton High School Class of 54 Scholarship Fund
This fund provides scholarships for graduates of Pisgah High School.
Cruso Endowment
This donor-advised fund supports general charitable purposes.
Town of Waynesville Recreation Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for the Town of Waynesville Recreation Department.
Charles Shuford Memorial Scholarship
The Charles Stanford Memorial Scholarship awards scholarships to Haywood County residents active
in 4-H who are pursuing an undergraduate degree or technical training beyond high school. Recipients
must maintain a 2.5 GPA in their major.
Phoenix/Chambers Memorial Scholarship Endowment
This fund awards scholarships to female graduates of Haywood County High School who are seeking a degree in education.
Haywood Mountain Home Endowment Fund
This fund provides for the ongoing support of the Haywood Mountain Home.
Blevins Family - Haywood Oil Endowment Fund
This fund has been established for the purpose of funding Christian activities.
Haywood County Unrestricted Endowment
The Haywood County Unrestricted Endowment Fund enables the Haywood County Community
Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life
within the county.
