The Carteret Community Foundation is hosting a free grantseekers workshop for local nonprofits as it begins its 2014 grant application cycle.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the CMAST Building, 303 College Circle, Morehead City. The workshop is free, but participants must register to attend by July 30th. The Carteret Community Foundation was established in 1984 and is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). The Carteret Community Foundation provides grants to local nonprofits and scholarships to area students. NCCF provides services to professional advisors who can help individuals, families and nonprofit agencies establish endowments. In 2013, the Carteret Community Foundation awarded more than $23,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations in the Carteret area.
