The board of advisors of the Cary Community Foundation announced $9,800 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund at a ceremony hosted recently at the Cary Chamber of Commerce, according to Travis Wright Colopy, board president.
This year’s nonprofit recipients include:
- $1,560 to Assistance League of the Triangle Area
- $1,500 to InterAct
- $1,500 to Kiran, Inc.
- $2,440 to Life Experiences
- $1,300 The Carying Place
- $1,500 to Triangle Family Services
Wright Colopy thanked the community for its support of the Cary Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Cary's community fund.”
