The Eastern Cherokee Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Eastern Cherokee Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

This fund supports the Jane Thompson Scholarship at Brigham Young University; The Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; the Moyle Memorial Park in Alpine, Utah; Western Carolina University Foundation; and the North Carolina Community Foundation.

Craig Family Cemetery Endowment
This fund supports the maintenance and upkeep of the Craig Family Cemetery.

Drama Cemetery Association Endowment
This fund supports the beautification and upkeep of the historic Drama Cemetery.

Eastern Band Fund for Financial Literacy, Children's Health or Special Issues Endowment
This fund supportsthe improvement of financial literacy among middle and high school students, the enhancement of child health programs and other charitable purposes.

Eastern Band of Cherokees Gift Fund
This fund allows the Eastern Band of Cherokees Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the lives of area residents by awarding annual grants to local nonprofit organizations.

Eastern Band of Cherokees Unrestricted Fund
This fund enables the Eastern Band of Cherokees Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life through annual grants to local nonprofit organizations.

Hornbuckle/Bennes Scholarship Endowment
This fund provides scholarships to Native American graduates of Cherokee High School through the Cherokee Boys Club, Inc.

George & Della Owl Endowment
This fund supports the Kituwah Academy to be used to encourage education and recognize achievement.

Swain County-Cherokee Reservation 4-H Foundation Endowment
This fund supports programs and activities of the 4-H Clubs in Swain County and the Cherokee Reservation.

Bill Taylor Scholarship Endowment
This fund provides scholarships for enrolled members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians or their spouses, children, or other immediate family members pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a business related curriculum.

Unto These Hills Education Fund Endowment
This fund provides scholarships and other educational opportunities for members of the Eastern Band of Cherokees Indians and their children.
