How much do you love your community? We at the Franklin County Community Foundation certainly do! We’ve been supporting and working to improve this area since 1991. We do so by serving as an important source of grant-making for nonprofits and local teachers in Franklin County. Since our inception, we’ve given out more than $44,000 in awards and education mini-grants!

Below are some of the grant recipients that we’ve contributed to in the past:

A Blessing, Inc.
Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central North Carolina
Care and Share of Franklin County
Franklin County Humane Society
Franklin County Library
Franklin County Schools
Franklin County Volunteers in Medicine Clinic
Franklin-Granville-Vance Partnership for Children
Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines
Louisburg Senior Citizens Center
Safe Space, Inc.
Tar River Land Conservancy

As our community fund grows through additional gifts and investment, so, too, will the impact and outreach it will achieve for Franklin County.

Every gift made to a participating local affiliate’s community grantmaking fund between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30 will receive a proportional share of the challenge match grant.
