{"title":"Franklin County Community Foundation announces local grants opportunity for teachers","content":"<p>The board of advisors of the Franklin County Community Foundation announces the availability of small grants to teachers in Franklin County from its Education Fund. The mini-grants program was established to encourage creativity in effective teaching throughout the Franklin County School System.<\/p>\r\n<p>All public school teachers and support personnel in grades pre-K through 12 are eligible to apply for grants between $100 and $350 for classroom projects or enrichment programs.<\/p>\r\n<p>&#8220;This is an excellent opportunity for our teachers to get funding for their second-semester classroom projects,&#8221; said Diane Fleming, Education Grants Committee chair &#8220;We are happy to provide financial support through this endowment fund.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications can be accessed at each school in Franklin County through the principal or curriculum resource teacher, or <a href=\"https:\/\/nmcdn.io\/e186d21f8c7946a19faed23c3da2f0da\/295b4aa3caf147538b0a606012c2aae2\/files\/franklin\/Application_2018.doc\">by clicking here<\/a>.
