The Board of Directors of the Johnston County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Ernestine J. Williams Scholarship, according to Butch Scott, board president.
The eligibility requirements are outlined on the scholarship description on this website. The Ernestine J. Williams Scholarship is designated for Johnston County public high school graduates planning to attend a 4-year or a 2-year college, community college or technical school this fall. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic performance, academic potential, and financial need. Applications for the scholarship, which is renewable, are due by April 11.
