The board of advisors of the Lee County Community Foundation announces 2015 awards from its community fund, according to Oliver Crawley Jr., board president.
This year’s nonprofit recipients include:
- Lee County Salvation Army Project GED for Lee
- Communities in Schools of Lee County
Crawley thanked the community for their support of the Lee County Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Lee County’s community fund.”
Lee County Community Foundation board members enjoyed taking the opportunity to meet with the staff of The Salvation Army of Lee County and Communities in Schools of Lee County about the different programs offered to children.
