NCCF local affiliate foundation boards in New Hanover, Onslow and Greene counties each have a member from the same family.
The North Carolina Community Foundation and local affiliate foundations, the New Hanover County Community Foundation and the Brunswick County Community Foundation, hosted Wilmington’s Pop-Up Philanthropy event April 18 at the Cameron Art Museum.
The Mustard Seed Fund provides small grants to support individuals from southeastern North Carolina who are participating in mission trips through qualified 501(c)3 charities and faith-based organizations. Application packets must be received by April 30.

The board of advisors of the New Hanover County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for projects funded from its community grantmaking fund, the Suzanne and George Taylor Endowment, the 1898 Memorial Fund, the Food Bank of Coastal Carolina Fund and the Lucille Murchison Marvin Fund.
