The board of advisors of the Morrisville Community Fund announces $1,500 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund, according to Liz Johnson, committee chair.
This year’s nonprofit recipients include:
- $1,000 to the Family Violence Prevention Center, Inc., known as InterAct, for the Lethality Assessment program: InterAct’s lifesaving partnership with the Morrisville Police Department
- $500 to Kiran, Inc for the transitional employment program
Johnson thanked the community for its support of the Morrisville Community Fund. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” she said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Morrisville’s community fund.”
