The Alleghany County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Alleghany County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
Alleghany County Education Fund
The Alleghany County Education Fund supports scholarships, student awards, teaching grants and other educational needs of Alleghany County.
Alleghany Memorial Library Endowment Fund
This fund provides ongoing support for Alleghany Memorial Library.
Alleghany Opportunity Fund
The Alleghany Opportunity Fund enables the Alleghany County Community Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life within the county. Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Alleghany County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
Alleghany Wellness Center, Inc. Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of the Alleghany Wellness Center.
Alma Black Alleghany Memorial Hospital Education Endowment
Alleghany Memorial Hospital established the Alma Black Alleghany Memorial Hospital Education Endowment to support the continuing education of its employees.
Betty Jane Douglas's Helping Hand of Piney Creek Endowment
This Endowment shall be devoted to the support of charitable uses in Alleghany County with preference given to charities from or serving Piney Creek.
Green Hill Farm Endowment Fund
This donor advised fund benefits general charitable purposes in Alleghany County.
NAPCO Education and Recreation Endowment
The NAPCO Education and Recreation Endowment is devoted to supporting educational and recreational programs and activities for the citizens of Alleghany County.
