List of funds
The Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
Beaufort County Arts Council Arts Alive Endowment
This fund provides for future growth of the Beaufort County Arts Council and its support for the arts in
Beaufort County.
Beaufort County Arts Council Frances M. & William R. Roberson Jr. Arts Award Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to support the Beaufort County Arts Council through its Fine Arts Award.
Beaufort County Developmental Center
This fund was established to help the Beaufort County Developmental Center meet operating and future
growth needs.
Beaufort County Schools Education Foundation Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of the Beaufort County Schools Education Foundation.
Beaufort County United Way Endowment
This fund was established to assist with the Beaufort County United Way operating costs.
Beaufort-Hyde Unrestricted Fund
This fund enables the Beaufort County Community Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the lives of Beaufort County residents by awarding grants annually to local nonprofit organizations.
The Blind Center Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to support the Blind Center of Beaufort.
The Brown Library Endowment
This fund was created to support the Friends of the Brown Library.
Dorothy D. and George Curtis Clark Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for Partnership for the Sounds, Inc., to provide education programs at the NC Estuarium to students of the Northeast Elementary School (Pinetown, NC) with additional funding to be used for programs among elementary-aged children in the Beaufort County School System.
Eagles Wing Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of Eagle's Wings Christian Love in Action.
Carol and Buster Humphreys Endowment
This fund was established by the family for general charitable interests.
Doris Marie Jones Scholarship Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for graduating seniors from Washington High School in Beaufort County.
Lights of Love Endowment
This fund is devoted to the support of Beaufort County Hospital for specific services, programs, projects, or other charitable initiatives at the recommendation of an advisory committee.
Henry L. Stephenson Jr., MD and Frances H. Stephenson Community Fund Endowment
This fund is to support general charitable interests.
Tayloe-Ainsworth Scholarship Endowment
This fund provides scholarships to the Lifestyles Medical Fitness Center at Beaufort County Hospital for members of the community who find it medically necessary to participate in wellness programs but may not have the resources to take advantage of these opportunities.
Washington REC Youth Athletic Endowment
This fund provides scholarships for youth participating in youth recreation programs as administered by the City of Washington Parks and Recreation Department.
