The Craven County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Craven County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Craven County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
