List of funds
The Hoke County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Hoke County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
Children's Developmental Center Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to support the activities of the Children's Developmental Center, also known as the Hoke County Association for the Developmentally Disabled.
Hoke County Unrestricted Endowment
The Hoke County Unrestricted Endowment Fund enables the Hoke County Community Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life within the county. Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Hoke County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Riley Jordan Scholarship Endowment
This Scholarship Endowment supports scholarships to high school seniors who are residents of Hoke County and are pursuing a health or medical field curriculum at an institution of higher learning.
Mary Archie McNeill Endowment Fund
The purpose of this fund is to provide a choral stipend to the choral director at the high school and possibly elementary and middle schools in order to provide and maintain a high quality level of music in the Hoke County Public School System.
Monroe and Gillis Scholarship Endowment
This fund awards scholarships to active members of St. Pauls Presbyterian Church, St. Pauls, NC, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at an institution of higher learning, including at community college.
