Macon County United Gift Fund

The Macon County Community Foundation announces launch of the

United Gift Fund Campaign

The Macon County Community Foundation is pleased to offer a way for all citizens of Macon County to donate to worthy organizations through the Macon County United Gift Fund Campaign.

The Campaign began on September 27th with a gathering at the Whistle Stop.  Friends joined us for refreshments and information from members of the twelve local nonprofits being served.  The campaign will run through December 31, 2011.  Please mail your donation to P.O. Box 1396, Franklin, NC  28744.

The Macon County Community Foundation has been in existence serving nonprofits in Macon County for the past 20 years.  In that time, $110,000 has been awarded in grants.  During the 2011 grant cycle, local leaders voiced concerns over their inability to fund every worthy applicant.  The United Gift Fund is designed to augment the funds available from the Macon County Community Foundation so that more local needs can be met.

If you have questions, please call Sue LeLievre, NCCF Western Regional Associate at 800-201-9532 or email her.
