The Macon County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Macon County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
Alzheimer's Caregiver Special Needs Endowment
This fund provides for the needs of Alzheimer's and dementia patient caregivers.
Center for Life Enrichment Endowment
This fund supports the Center in providing inspiration and education to the residents of the Highlands area.
Cornerstone Presbyterian Church Endowment
This fund provides scholarships through Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Franklin, NC.
First Citizens Bank Associates Scholarship Endowment
Established by associates and employees of First Citizens Bank, this fund provides scholarships to students majoring in finance.
Franklin Church of Christ, McCollum Drive Scholarship Endowment
This endowment was established by Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford to provide scholarships for Macon County students.
Franklin High School Athletic Boosters Scholarship Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for graduates of Franklin High School who have participated in an athletic program.

The purpose of this fund is to support the programs and activities of Franklin High School.
Franklin High School Class of 51 Scholarship Endowment
This fund provides scholarships to students from Franklin High School or a successor school.
Kids Place Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for Kids Place, whose mission is to provide and coordinate services for abused and neglected children.
Literary Council of Highlands Endowment Fund
This fund provides ongoing support for the Literary Council.
Macon County Community Disaster Relief Fund
This fund provides economic assistance to community organizations in Macon County dealing with the aftermath of natural disasters through non-profit organizations dealing with vital services to the community.
Macon County Public Library Endowment
This fund provides ongoing support for Macon County Public Library.
Macon County Unrestricted Endowment Fund
The Macon County Unrestricted Endowment Fund enables the Macon County Community Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life within the county. Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Macon County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
Macon County Youth Endowment
This fund provides for the ongoing support of the Macon County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.
Macon Unit #108 American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship Endowment
This fund provides scholarship to female graduates of a Macon County high school who are eligible to be a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
William V. Mason Junaluskee Masonic Lodge Scholarship and Humanitarian Endowment
This fund provides for general Macon County community needs and need-based scholarships for Franklin High School graduates.
Judy Moore Memorial Scholarship Endowment
This endowment was established by the Macon Health Center in memory of Judy Moore to provide scholarships for nursing students.
