NCCF will present two educational offerings in October in the east and Piedmont regions, with one providing CLE or CPE credit.
On Tuesday, Oct. 11, the Vance County Community Foundation and Granville County Community Foundation will host a one-hour credit seminar on "Charitable Giving Techniques: Helping Your Clients Achieve Their Charitable Goals." The session will be led by Mary Morgan, NCCF philanthropy counsel, and Robert Saunders, attorney with Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard, LLP. The seminar will be held at the Henderson Country Club at 300 Country Club Drive in Henderson. The cost is $19 and includes lunch. To register, contact Jeanne Lawson at 919-256-6914 or email her. On Tuesday, Oct. 18, Chowan Community Funds will present a Planned Giving Seminar to provide tax benefit information for "your estate, your loved ones or to create a legacy." Presenters will be Jennifer Dacey of Ward and Smith, P.A. and Beth Boney Jankins, NCCF vice president for development. The seminar will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 101 W.
