Miracle League establishes fund
The Board of Directors of Cary Community Foundation announces the establishment of an endowment to benefit the Miracle League of the Triangle, according to Brad McGinnis, CCF Board Chair.
The endowment fund will assist with general operating support of the Miracle League of the Triangle, a non-profit that creates positive life experiences for nearly 300 children with special needs and their families through baseball.
“We are proud to support the mission of the Miracle League of the Triangle and are glad to see this permanent source of income for their future success through our community foundation,” McGinnis said. “Their endowment is important not only to their mission, but also the entire community. It means that children with special needs in our area will have the opportunity to play baseball and enjoy the thrill of participating on a team through this worthy organization, for generations to come.”
Contributions are tax-deductible and should be made payable to the Miracle League of the Triangle Fund and mailed to the North Carolina Community Foundation, Attention: Jeanne Lawson, 4601 Six Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh, NC 27609.
