List of funds

The Pitt County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Pitt County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. 

Boys & Girls Club of Pitt County Endowment 
This fund provides ongoing support for the Boys & Girls Club of Pitt County.
 
Beatrice Chauncey Endowment 
This donor-advised fund benefits general charitable purposes.
 
B. Vernon Cox & Helena M. Cox Endowment 
This donor-advised fund supports general charitable purposes.
 
Grover W. Everett-Chia Li Endowment 
This fund, established by the Kiwanis Club of Greenville, provides scholarships for graduates of Pitt County High Schools who are attending East Carolina University.
 
Family Church Endowment 
This fund benefits Gatesville United Methodist Church, Saint Andrews United Methodist Church, Persons United Methodist Church, Somerton United Methodist Church, and Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church. 
 
Greenville Community Shelter Endowment 
This fund was established to provide ongoing support for the Shelter, which helps homeless men, women, and children in Pitt County become self sufficient. 
 
Mary Eliza Ward Jones Scholarship Fund 
This endowment provides funds toFirst Christian Church of Greenville, NC, for scholarships for students who are pursuing higher education.

Kelly Carr Kurz Endowment
 This Endowment supports general charitable, educational, religious, and scientific purposes.
 
Kathryn Paine McConnell Teacher Award Endowment 
The purpose of this fund is to provide a reward in recognition of teacher excellence at J.H. Rose High School in Pitt county. 
 
Robert William McConnell, MD Scholarship Endowment 
This fund provides scholarships for graduating seniors from Twin Springs High School, VA or direct descendants of the former Dungannon HS or Fort Blackmore HS with high academic merit, who are enrolling full-time in an accredited college or university. 
 
John F. Minges III Endowment 
This fund provides ongoing support for the Boys & Girls Club of Pitt County.
 
Minges/Pepsi-Cola Community Fund 
This fund supports various charitable nonprofit organizations throughout Pitt, Beaufort, Martin, Washington, Tyrrell, Greene, Bertie, Lenoir, Onslow, Craven, Carteret, Pamlico, and Jones Counties.

Ludie Moore Family Charitable Fund Endowment 
This donor-advised fund supports general charitable purposes.
 
Cody Blue Pilkington Scholarship Fund 
This fund, established in memory of Dylan Cody Pilkington, provides scholarships to entering freshmen or sophomores at NC State University from Arendell Parrott Academy, Ayden Grifton High School, or  the North Carolina School of Science and Math who are entering any engineering, science, or math curriculum. 
 
Pitt County Unrestricted Endowment 
The Pitt County Unrestricted Endowment Fund enables the Pitt County Community Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life within the county. Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Pitt County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
 
Pitt-Greenville Crimestoppers Endowment 
This fund helps to pay rewards and to cover the general operating expenses of the Association.
 
Mary Raab, M.D.Endowment 
This donor-advised fund supports general charitable purposes.
 
Blake Tedder Burn Prevention Endowment 
This fund supports fire education, prevention, and safety programs with an emphasis on Pitt County and  the Rocky Mount area. 
 
University City Kiwanis Club Endowment 
This fund was established by the University City Kiwanis Club to support general charitable causes.
 
Wilkerson Kiwanis Scholarship Endowment 
Established by the Kiwanis Club of Greenville, this fund provides scholarships to Pitt County high school seniors admitted to East Carolina University.
