List of funds

The Sampson County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Sampson County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. 

James E. and Mary Z. Bryan Foundation Endowment for Sampson Community College 
This fund provides ongoing support for scholarships at Sampson Community College.
 
Amos & Alice Butler Lakewood School Area Educational Fund 
This fund provides scholarships to Lakewood School District students wishing to pursue higher education at an accredited college or university, community college, or trade school. 
 
Annabelle L. Fetterman Gift Fund
This donor-advised fund supports general charitable purposes.

Hobbton High School/Lou Wilson Memorial Endowment 
This fund provides grants to Hobbton High School in Newton Grove, NC, to grant scholarships in memory of Lou Wilson. 
 
Betty Jean Kirchdorfer Dudley Scholarship Endowment 
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to female seniors from Lakewood High School in Salemburg, NC, who are active in athletics and members of the Beta Club. The Sampson County Community Foundation was established to serve the needs of local nonprofit organizations, donors and charitable causes. The Sampson County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. 

Pineland College/Edwards Military Institute Scholarship Endowment 
This fund provides scholarships to high school seniors in Sampson County who are interested in pursuing higher education at a college or community college. 
 
Robert I. & Eleanor S. Powell Endowment 
This donor-advised fund benefits general charitable purposes.
 
Robert I. & Eleanor S. Powell Gift Fund 
This donor-advised fund benefits general charitable purposes.
 
Sampson County Unrestricted Endowment 
The Sampson County Unrestricted Endowment Fund enables the Sampson County Community Foundation to respond to changing community needs and to enhance the quality of community life within the county. Donors allow flexibility in how these funds are to be used, leaving the Sampson County Board of Directors to award grants each year to local nonprofit organizations.
