Statewide funds support NC initiatives

The North Carolina Science Olympiad (NCSO) is a statewide nonprofit organization with the mission to attract, develop and retain a talent pool of kindergarten through twelfth-grade students entering science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) degrees and careers in North Carolina. Every year the NCSO hosts tournaments on university, community college and public school campuses across the state. A recently created endowment with NCCF will help the organization fund these endeavors for the short- and long-term.
