The Board of Directors of the Vance County Community Foundation is offering a free workshop for non-profits in Vance County to demonstrate the foundation’s new online process for grant applications, and discover other sources of funding for their projects, according to James Edwards, Grants Committee Chair.
The workshop will be offered on Tuesday, March 8, at 4:00 at the Chamber of Commerce office on 414 South Garnett Street in Henderson. Seating is limited; please call 919-256-6914 to reserve a seat.
The Vance County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from local non-profits for projects funded from its community fund. Grants typically range from $100 to $1000; total grant making for 2011 will not exceed $2,500.00.
Applications are available at www.nccommunityfoundation.org (under “Affiliates”, “Northern Piedmont”); or by writing to the Vance County Community Foundation at 4601 Six Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh, NC 27609. The deadline for submitting applications is April 15.
