Education Committee program addresses hunger: Ten things you may not know about hunger in Wake County

The Women's Giving Network's Education Committee cordially invites you to attend a special luncheon on Friday, March 23, at the Interfaith Food Shuttle's facility at 1001 Blair Drive, Raleigh, 27620. The event will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Entitled "Ten things you may not know about hunger in Wake County," the event will include an interactive panel discussion on hunger and food insecurity facing women and children in our community, as well as a tour of the Interfaith Food Shuttle's facility.

A $10 boxed lunch catered by the Food Shuttle Culinary School will be served. Please RSVP by March 19 by sending a $10 check payable to the Women's Giving Network to Jeanne Lawson, NC Community Foundation, 4601 Six Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh, NC 27609. Please indicate the number of guests and whether a vegetarian meal is required. Seating is limited, and there will be no registration at the door. Advance reservations are required.

This is an excellent event for members to use for recruiting and inviting guests. We hope to see you there!
