The Women's Impact Network of New Hanover County is proud to announce that Wilmington Health Access for Teens will be the group's 2014 grant recipient.  Wilmington Health Access for Teens (WHAT) offers comprehensive primary medical care, mental health, nutrition and prevention services to adolescents and young adults ages 11 - 24.

WHAT will use the $32,000 grant to support mental and behavioral health care to teens at its three clinics in Ashley, Laney and New Hanover high schools.  School-based health services are provided to students every day school is in session by a multi-disciplinary team of providers including a family nurse practitioner, a mental health counselor and a registered dietician.
