Most of NCCF’s affiliate foundations have established a community fund that supports local issues and causes. This is a model that our affiliate partners strongly endorse because local dollars stay local to help finance critical needs. An excellent example of local grants making a difference is the Robeson County Community Foundation’s contribution to help support vital programming at the Southeastern Family Violence Center in Lumberton. This nonprofit provides crisis intervention, shelter and advocacy services for adults and children who are victims of violence.
