Fund members use a collaborative decision-making process to provide grants to eligible nonprofits. Criteria include, but are not limited to:
- Be located and provide services in one of the four counties of the Triangle: Chatham, Durham, Orange and/or Wake;
- Qualify as tax-exempt under section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code (fiscal agent) or be classified as a unit of government; and
- Not discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, political affiliation or religious organization that serves exclusively sectarian purposes.
Each year, TAG selects a topic area on which to focus grant requests.
The Art of Giving (TAG) is currently accepting grant requests for community projects. Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve the charitable needs of women and children in the Triangle area. Click here to learn more.
