  • Girls on the Run of the Triangle - $10,000 to support the Heart & Sole program for middle school girls.
  • Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation - $1,337 to support the Ephesus Girls Group program

2014

  • Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina - $5,000 – to support the Smart Girls program, which is a teen pregnancy prevention initiative. (Chapel Hill)
  • Family Violence & Rape Crisis Services - $5,600 – to support Sisterhood Empowerment, a program helping girls heal from sexual violence. (Pittsboro)

2013

  • Piedmont Health Services - $4,000 – for Dental services assistance. (Carrboro)
  • Senior PharmAssist - $6,000 -  for Community referral and insurance counseling for women. (Durham)

2012

  • Dress for Success – Triangle - $16,000 – for their Poverty to Prosperity Job Placement program. (Durham)

 2011

  • El Futuro - $10,000 – to support the Child and Family Trauma Treatment program. (Durham)
  • Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services - $12,000 – to support the Garden Place. (Pittsboro)

2010

  • Urban Ministries of Wake County - $3,000 – for the Open Door Clinic, to purchase non-narcotic prescription medication for patients. (Raleigh)
  • Communities in Schools of Durham - $20,000 - to support the Incredible Year Parent Training series. (Durham)

2009

Genesis Home - $9,000 - to assist in efforts related to ending homelessness by providing temporary housing to families and young people. (Durham)
