The Board of Directors of the Wake County Community Foundation has opened its annual grants window and is accepting grant requests for projects funded from its community fund, according to Howard Wasserman, Grants Committee Chair.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Wake County. Priority will be given to projects that target essential needs such as food, clothing, shelter and medicine, and have annual budgets of $500,000 or less.
Applications are available online at www.nccommunityfoundation.org (under “Affiliates/Wake”). The deadline for submitting applications is April 30.
