Anne manages nonprofit outreach, engagement and affiliate grantmaking and scholarships for eastern North Carolina. She is a former member of the board of directors for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina. She served on the Airlie Gardens Foundation Board for six years and was a guardian ad litem advocate in 5th judicial district of NC (New Hanover and Pender counties) for ten years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History from Meredith College.
