Bio
Shari manages nonprofit outreach, engagement and affiliate grantmaking and scholarships for western North Carolina. Prior to joining the team at NCCF in April 2023, she served as the Resource Development Coordinator for Wayfinder Partnerships.
Shari previously served as the Assistant Director for Program Implementation with GEAR UP @ Appalachian State University. She also worked in University Housing at three institutions of higher education where she helped students navigate self-identity, academic success, community resources, social justice issues, and life planning.
Shari received a Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies from Kent State University and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University.
