Community Foundation for Randolph County

The Community Foundation for Randolph County awarded $23,880 to the following local nonprofit organizations through its community grantmaking fund and other board advised funds:

• $4,000 to Communities in Schools of Randolph County for STEM for Students 
• $4,000 to Keaton’s Place, a substance use disorder recovery resource center, for general operating support 
• $1,745 to Path of Hope, Inc., to update bedding in their Asheboro men’s facility and for general operating support at Randolph County facilities 
• $7,000 to Randolph Senior Adults Association, Inc., for meal programs 
• $3,135 to RhinoLeap for Impact Now 
• $4,000 to Spirit Horse Ranch Rescue and Education, Inc., for Equicizer Rider Trainer 

2023 grants awarded

The Community Foundation for Randolph County awarded $8,500 to the following local nonprofit organizations from its community grantmaking fund:

• $2,000 to Asheboro Shelter of Hope for bunkbeds for sleeping quarters
• $500 to Communities in Schools of Randolph County for Grow GoFar!
• $2,000 to Randolph Community College Foundation for Student Assistance Program (SAP)
• $2,000 to Randolph Senior Adults Association, Inc. for meal programs
• $2,000 to Spirit Horse Ranch Rescue and Education, Inc. for heating and cooling system for inclement weather
