Last in our Scholar Spotlight series for this academic year is Asia Hooper from Lakeland, FL. She is a recipient of the Peter S. Slomianyj Scholarship.
Asia was home-schooled and is now attending Polk State College in Winter Haven, FL. She wants to be an ultrasound technician and chose Polk State for its outstanding ultrasound program, which focuses on OBGYN sonography. She hopes that as an ultrasound technician, she will be able to help women in the United States and abroad through mission work. The NCCF is glad to help support Asia’s goals!
