Dillon Lee from Erwin is the recipient of the Harnett County Retired School Personnel Scholarship Endowment. Dillon graduated from Triton High School and is already a leader in his community through his active engagement with his church, First Baptist of Dunn, and his mission work to help rebuild homes in New Jersey in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. In his free time, he enjoys running, skateboarding and playing basketball. He is a first generation college student and currently attends Campbell University, which is close enough to home that he can still be active with his church. In addition to tutoring students at Campbell in statistics, he is involved in the Accounting Club, the Math Club and the ITS Club. He plans to transfer to NC State University in the fall of 2015 to finish off his undergraduate degree in marketing and then plans to attend graduate school at UNC-Chapel Hill to earn a master’s degree in either healthcare management, sustainability management or disaster relief management.
