Dylan Potter

Dylan Potter is a graduate of Pamlico County High School and will be attending North Carolina State University in the fall.

Potter intends to study mechanical engineering and minor in business administration. In the future, Potter plans on working for the Marine Corps Aircraft Station in Cherry Point located in Havelock, North Carolina.

Driven by his curiosity of how things are engineered and desire to improve national defense, Potter wants to develop aircrafts and other related machinery to save lives. He plans to give back to his community by inspiring students in rural areas to be courageous and confident in their ability to make a difference.

Dylan Potter is a recipient of the Cody Blue Pilkington Scholarship. “As an engineer, there are many ways I can positively affect my community. I plan to give back to students to students in the FFA, SGA, and many other clubs. I hope to inspire them to have courage and confidence moving forward, even coming from a rural town.”
