Cary Women’s Giving Network to host Nonprofit Fridays lunch series

The Cary Women’s Giving Network will host a series of Nonprofit Friday brown bag luncheons at the Cary Chamber of Commerce on the fourth Friday of the month from 12:00 pm-1:30 pm. The next one is Friday, March 28.
Nonprofit Fridays is a new program sponsored by the Cary Women’s Giving Network. Its goal is to educate membership and those interested in joining about local nonprofits and the needs the organizations address. Each event will highlight a single nonprofit organization who will be invited to make a short presentation.
The Cary Women’s Giving Network is a local women’s giving circle with a mission is to leverage resources to address existing needs in Cary. Formed in 2011 as a program of the Cary Community Foundation, the Cary Women’s Giving Network provides grants to nonprofits serving Cary. Grants are competitive and decided through its full membership. The women’s network and the Cary affiliate are programs of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
