Regina Petteway, Interim Director of Wake County Health and Human Services and WGN member, shared about the pressing needs affecting women and children in Wake County. Dallas Bonavita, Executive Director of Note in the Pocket, shared gratitude to the Network for the grant they received in 2014, as well as the exciting things being done with the grant award.
Kella Hatcher, newly elected WGN President, thanked everyone for coming and encouraged participation in the Network. There are a number of hard-working committees with which members can become involved, but there are also individual tasks that women can accomplish without wearing a committee hat.
