W.A.M.Y. Community Action Endowment Fund

W.A.M.Y. Community Action, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in western North Carolina that works to break the cycle of poverty.

This endowment provides W.A.M.Y. with ongoing support in its mission to partner with families and communities to provide people who are disadvantaged the support and tools they need to become self-sufficient in Watauga, Avery, Mitchell and Yancey counties.

W.A.M.Y.’s programs include housing and weatherization services, food and nutrition, total family development, and youth development.
