The board of advisors of the Franklin County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Franklin County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund and the Franklin County Education Fund Endowment. Grants typically are typically $500.

Applications are available beginning March 25. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for applications is April 26 at noon.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel, or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Franklin County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

“We are happy to offer these grants to our nonprofits to build their impact in our local community,” said Pamela Andrejev, board president. “We hope this will help provide needed support to keep Franklin County strong.”

About the Franklin County Community Foundation

The Franklin County Community Foundation is a growing family of philanthropic funds, source of grants for local causes, and partner for donors. Advisory board members live and work in Franklin County, positioning them to strategically leverage resources, meet local needs, and access opportunities. Contributions can also be made online at nccommunityfoundation.org.
