Community grants available from the Onslow Caring Communities Foundation

The board of advisors of the Onslow Caring Communities Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving the local community in Onslow County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund; Onslow Youth Fund, supporting youth programs and activities; and Dallas Fred Allen Endowment Fund, supporting organizations with services and programs benefiting the humane treatment of animals and animal welfare. Grants typically range from $750 - $20,000.

Applications are available beginning March 26. Visit this page for information about applying. The deadline for applications is April 27 at noon.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Onslow Caring Communities Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our nonprofits to expand their impact in our local community,” said Debbi Rouse, board president. “We are excited to partner with our nonprofit community to continue supporting Onslow County.”
